Garden tour will benefit HOPE

The Cherokee County Master Gardener Association will host its annual Garden Tour of Homes benefiting HOPE from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, May 3. Jacksonville gardens on the tour include Mr. and Mrs. Dick Stone, 2629 E. Rusk; Mr. and Mrs. Robert Haberle 1507 O¿'Keefe Road; Mr. and Mrs. Roland Adams, 1101 Canada Street; and Eve's Garden at Larissa House Restaurant, 301 West Larissa. Garden tour tickets are $5.

This year a limited number of Larissa House box lunch/ tour tickets will be sold until April 30 for a $15 donation. Tickets may be purchased at the HOPE office. Tour tickets only will be available on the tour date at any of the garden locations.

The Texas Master Gardener program is an educational activity offered by the Cherokee County AgriLife Extension. It is designed to increase the availability of horticultural information and extend horticultural projects throughout the community.
