Beryl Dailey notes 90th birthday

Beryl Dailey of Rusk and her twin grandsons, Jason and Justin Dailey prepare to ride a helicopter in celebration of their birthday.

Beryl Dailey, of Rusk was honored on April 19 with a cookout and party in celebration of her 90th birthday. The party was held at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Louise and Dale Peterson.

Theme of the party, decorations and cake was a helicopter tour of Dallas. The theme was based on a wish she expressed that she would like to ride on a helicopter on her 90th birthday.

Also sharing in the celebration were her twin grandsons, Jason and Justin Dailey of Abilene Christian University, who were born on her birthday 23 years ago.

Attending were her son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Ruth Dailey of El and her husband, Gaye and John Walters of Longview; grandson and his wife, Jeff and Yolanda Peterson of Pasadena; great-granddaughters, Brittany Walters of East Texas Baptist University in Marshall, Morgan Walters of Longview; step-great-greatgrandson, Caiden Taylor and Clear Lake and Brittany's friend, Mitch Barton of East Texas Baptist University in Marshall.

Her wish was granted by her son and his wife's gift of a helicopter tour of Dallas along with her twin grandsons on April 21.
