Lady Eagles face Westwood in bi-district playoffs

The Rusk Lady Eagle softball team will play the Westwood Lady Panthers at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at Elkhart High School in Elkhart. Rusk finished the regular season 25-5, 11-3 in District 20 3A. Rusk is the second place team in District 20 3A while Westwood is the third place team in District 19 3A. The winner will face Waco Robinson in the Area Championship game. Rusk ranks 24th in the state.
