      The Cherokee County Sheriff's Department helped foil a murder for hire plot April 10 in Jacksonville. Investigators learned that 40-year-old Rhonda Stone had several conversations with people she believed would help her carry out a murder of her ex-husband, Morris Stone of Jacksonville.

JMS choir participates in UIL competition
