Blakemore to play in all-star game Saturday

      Rusk senior basketball player Cambry Blakemore has been selected to play in the 2008 Azalea Orthopedics All-Star basketball game. The game will be played on Saturday, April 12, at the Patriot Center on the campus of the University of Texas at Tyler.

Tribe names new chief
      The Jacksonville ISD Board of Trustees named Steve Wells as their new athletic director and head football coach during a special meeting held Thursday morning. Coach Wells had been the athletic director and football coach at Mineola High School, leading the Yellowjackets to the playoffs in 2007.
