Livestock show was a big success thanks to volunteers

The Cherokee Livestock Association would like to extend a big thank you to the following people that spent many long hours in getting the show data put into the computers for all of the results. I could not have survived the show without these great people helping me in the office during the show and auction. They were Anna Traylor, Lindsey Traylor, Diane Hutson, Jack White, Jacki Bolton, Tina Barber, Donna Moore, Angela Landrum, Darlene Terry, Betsy Barron, Rhonda Robinson. Lanette Davis, Jan Hill, Kristin Hutson and Peggy Traylor.

I think that Wayne Berry, Steve Hutson and Ricky Moore would also like to see another great Texas- sized thank you to all of the great people that helped put the show on. It takes a lot of hard work and many long hours to get everything ready. The division chairmen are, beef - Wade and Bill McKnight; dairy - Stacy Tugwell; swine - Donnie and Amy Goodwin, goats - Kay Moore and Larry Burton; poultry - Rachel Vickers and Tamara Bolton; rabbits - Betsy Barron; shop - Mark Bolton.

There are many others who have helped and we could never list them all due to space.

As it stands, the sale total is going to be over $233,000. We thought that this was great due to the economy.
