17 enter guilty pleas Seventeen persons entered guilty pleas in district court during the month of March. Those pleading were: •Charles Wells, 28, of Wells, charged with aggravated sexual assault of a child, was sentenced to nine years in Texas Department of Criminal Justice. •Jimendrick Christopher AKA Jimendrick Shedd, 28, of Jacksonville, charged with possession of a controlled substance with the intent to deliver was sentenced to 19 years in TDCJ. •William Solis, 19, of Jacksonville, charged with burglary of a habitation, was sentenced to 10 years deferred probation. •Shanea Ford, 33, of Lewisville, charged with forgery, was sentenced to three years deferred probation. Heath Cox, 18, of Rusk, charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, was sentenced to five years deferred probation. Meliton Garcia, 36, of Jacksonville, charged with obstruct retaliation, was sentenced to seven months in the county jail. •Mark Baker, 23, of Rusk, charged with possession of a controlled substance, was sentenced to 270 days in a state jail. •Matthew Morris, 24, of Jacksonville, charged with driving while intoxicated with a child under 15, was sentenced to six months in a state jail. •Jon Underwood, 19, of Rusk, charged with burglary of a habitation, was sentenced to 10 years deferred probation. •Gabino Galvan, 49, of Jacksonville, charged with driving intoxicated for three or more offenses, was sentenced to five years in TDCJ. •April Work, 29, of Jacksonville, charged with possession of a controlled substance and credit card abuse, was sentenced to two years straight probation for two years. •Regina Kendrick AKA Regina Irving, 37, of Fort Worth, charged with failure to appear was sentenced to three years deferred probation. •Brandon Cormier, 18, of Jacksonville, charged with burglary of a habitation, was sentenced to 10 years deferred probation. •Stephen Robinson, 26, of Rusk, charged with possession of a controlled substance, was sentenced to five years deferred probation. •Farron Cobb, 46, of Jacksonville, charged with driving while intoxicated with a child under 15, was sentenced to two years, probated for four straight years. •Cedric Atkins, 26, of Rusk, charged with possession of a controlled substance, was sentenced to 10 years probated for five straight years. •Gabriel Perez, 34, of Jacksonville, charged with driving while intoxicated with a child under 15, was sentenced to six months, probated for one straight year. |
