Running down a dream

Jose Leon of Alto runs to victory in the 3,200-meter run during the Doug Jordan Relays at Eagle Stadium Thursday. Leon won first place in the 3,200-meter run and second place in the 1,600-meter run.

Chelsea Kinser of Rusk keeps pace during the m 3,200-meter run in the girls varsity division of the Doug Jordan Relays Thursday. Kinser placed fourth in the event, helping Rusk earn a third place team showing out of seven teams competing.
Maria Ramirez of Jacksonville finishes second l place in the 3,200-meter run at the Doug Jordan Relays at Rusk High School. Ramirez also placed second in the 1,600 meter run, finishing behind team mate Anna Rodriguez in both events. Hanna Thompson of Rusk plugs away at the 3,200-meter run event during the Doug Jordan Relays. Thompson's endurance paid off as she took fifth place with a time of 16:32. Rusk placed third in the girls varsity division of the Doug Jordan Relays.
