TxDOT tells projects

Texas Department of Transportation mill-and-inlay crews began two weeks of work Tuesday on U.S. Highway 79 between Jacksonville and New Summerfield. The work, which features a two-part convoy grinding up the old pavement and replacing it with fresh hot mix, is scheduled to last for two weeks. Daytime lane closures will be in effect in various locations along U.S. Highway 79. Motorists are asked to seek alternate routes if possible to avoid delays.
