Democratic Club slates Thursday meeting

The Cherokee County Democratic Club will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 27, at The Wok on U.S. Highway 69 in Jacksonville. The Texas Democratic Women will meet at 6:30 p.m. at the same location.

Members will review the historic Texas Primary. Delegate information and convention rules will be discussed in preparation for the 10 a.m. Saturday, March 29 Democratic County Convention to be held in the district courtroom on the second floor of the Cherokee Courthouse in Rusk. Everyone is encouraged to attend.
