Christian writers form new chapter in Tyler

There are currently five chapters of Inspirational Writers Alive! (IWA!) in Texas, from Amarillo to Houston. Its founder started the Jacksonville chapter 13 years ago.

IWA! has regular monthly meetings which include a speaker approximately every three months, information about writing markets, a monthly newsletter, open critique time and the opportunity to connect with others who are published. It currently sponsors annual writing competition. The Texas Christian Writers Conference takes place in Houston in August. Amarillo Chapter has a conference in April. A Tyler founders day meeting will be at 6:45 p.m. May 27, at Tyler Christian Fellowship, 3421 Old Jacksonville Highway, one-fourth mile off Loop 323.
