Christians Against Substance Abuse program offered in Rusk

Persons with drug or alcohol problems are invited to attend Christian Against Substance Abuse (CASA) group meetings. The sessions are held at 7 p.m. on the first Tuesday of each month, beginning April 1, at the Rusk Church of Christ. The church is located at 397 S. Main St., Rusk.

CASA offers a New Life Behavior Course to assist people in freeing themselves from alcohol and chemical dependency. The approach utilizes instructional sessions, peer discussions and the 12-step group approach.

CASA is different from other 12-step groups in that the Bible is integrated into the 12-step principles. For additional information (903) 683-4003.
