DORIS JONES

Funeral for Doris Jones, 85, of Dialville, was at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 15, at Rocky Springs Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Charles Swilling presiding. Burial was in the Rocky Springs Cemetery.

Mrs. Jones was born and reared in Dialville. She married B. F. Jones, and they had three children while residing in Texas and then moved to Tucson, Ariz.. They moved back to Dialville a few years ago. Doris worked in a variety of jobs including school bus driver, post office worker and real estate broker. Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her husband, B. F. Jones.

Survivors are two sons and a daughter-in-law, Roland Jones of Dialville and Bryan and Kim Jones of Bellingham, Wash., a daughter and son-in-law: Elaine Jones and husband Paul of Tucson, Ariz., a brother and sister-in-law: J. P. and Alice Sides of Henderson; seven grandchildren and spouses, Dan and Carla Baranowski, Nick and Nicole Baranowski, Emily Simon, Samantha Simon, Adelia Jones, Kelsey Jones, Jason and Danielle Jones; one great granddaughter: Morgan Jones; and several nieces and nephews.
