White wins Republican nomination in constable recount

Jack White's victory over Jake Carter was affirmed in a recount of the March 8 Republican primary election.

Mr. White received 419 votes in the re-count and Mr. Carter, 413 votes in the Constable, Pct. 2 race.

Unofficial vote tally on election night showed, Mr. White with 417 votes and Mr. Carter with 413.

Mr. White will face Democratic nominee Mark Green in the Nov. 4 General Election.
