Boaters safety course will be offered April 19

Cherokee County Farm Bureau will sponsor a boaters safety course. Persons born after Sept. 1, 1984, and under 18 years old, must take a boaters safety course in order to operate a personal watercraft. Persons who have violated a water safety act may need to take a Boaters Safety course. This course has very valuable information for operating and owning a boat. This is a one-day course 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, April 19, at Southern Cherokee Federal Credit Union in Rusk. Cherokee County Farm Bureau will provide lunch. Cost is $28 per person.
