11 plea in district court Eleven persons pleaded to 12 criminal charges in the Cherokee County during February, according to information from the office of Elmer Beckworth, district attorney. Cases involved charges of DWI, evading arrest, burglary, aggravated sexual assault of a child and possession of child pornography. Those pleading were: •Marc Pryor, 35 of Marshall, charged with DWI for the third for more times, received 10 years or five years of straight probation. •Miguel Suarez, 34, of Jacksonville, charged with DWI with child under the age of 15 received a sentence of four year, probated for four straight years •Jim Tobola III, 31, of Inez, charged with DWI for three or more times received a sentence of 10 years, probated for six straight years •Martin Coronilla, 41, of Jacksonville, charged with DWI for three or more times, received a sentence of 10 years, probated for 10 straight years •Randy Price, 20, of Leesburg, charged with evading arrest with a vehicle, sentenced to two years, probated for two straight years •Dumaurier Applon, 28, of Lufkin, charged with DWI with a child under the age of 15, sentenced to two years probated for five straight years •Justin Vaughn, 19, charged with burglary of a habitation, was sentenced to two years deferred probation •Anthony Duffie, 22, of Jacksonville, charged with burglary of a habitation, was sentenced to eight years in Texas Department of Criminal Justice •Emmitt Waller, 29, of Jacksonville charged with two counts of DWI for three or more times, was sentenced to five years in Texas Department of Criminal Justice for the first charge and seven years in TDCJ for the second Aaron Joslin, 27, of Troup, charged with aggravated sexual assault of a child, was sentenced to 10 years in TDCJ Douglas Wardrup, 22, of Bullard, charged with possession of child pornography six times, was sentenced to four years in TDCJ. |
