Lucky Day for Relay held at area restaurants

Several area restaurants have pledged to donate a portion of their sales St. Patrick's Day, March 17, to the Cherokee County Relay for Life.

The following restaurants have pledged to donate a portion of their St. Patrick's Day sales to the Relay for Life: Subway in Alto; Hondo and Shorty's Burger Place in Bullard; The Olde Store in Gallatin; Adolfo's Pizza, Beverly's Country Cafe, Dairy Queen-South Jackson, King's Wok, Larissa House, Legends Old Time Burger Cafe, Sonic, Whataburger and Posaditos, all of Jacksonville; Striker Lakeside Restaurant in Reklaw; The Daily Grind, Dairy Queen, Lunch Sak, Sonic, Subway, Sweet Shoppe Rock and Whataburger, all of Rusk.

Residents are urged to eat at these establishments during St. Patrick's Day to help raise funds for Relay for Life, said Chairman Cynthia Kline.
