JEAN WALLEY

Funeral for Jean Walley, 81, of Rusk, was at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 1, at Autry Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Don Copeland officiating. Burial was in McDonald Cemetery.

Mrs. Walley died Feb. 26. She was born Feb. 11, 1927, in Iams, Iowa, to John Randall and Sarah McDonald Strain. She was a Baptist and retired therapist technician at Rusk State Hospital.

Survivors are husband Roy Walley of Rusk; seven sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Judy Liles of Arlington, Mickey and Robin Liles, Mark Walley, Butch and LaRae Walley, Mike and Mary Walley, Jimmy and Peggy Walley, Robert and Debbie Walley, all of Rusk; two daughters Rebecca and Don Vandever and Becky and Elbert Ballew, all of Rusk; brother and sister-in-law, John and Strain of LaGrande, Iowa; and sister and brother-in-law, Bonnie and Bud Furst of Boone, Iowa; 33 grandchildren; and 65 great-grandchildren.

Grandsons and great-grandsons served as pallbearers.
