Bridal Show plans
     Plans are underway for the second annual bridal show from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, March 1, at the old Baskin's building in Rusk. Several hundred people attended last year's show with 30 booths. The event is sponsored by the Rusk Chamber of Commerce. Vendor fees start at $45.

Rusk places 1st in UIL competition
      Rusk Elementary School and Rusk Intermediate School jointly brought home the winning trophy for UIL compettion. This is the seventh year for Rusk Elementary to win the honor. Second and third grades are at the elementary school and fourth and fifth grades at the intermediate school.
