SUSANNE JETER (SUSIE) BOWMAN

Memorial service for Susanne Jeter (Susie) Bowman, 55, of Alto was at 2 p.m. Sunday at O.T. Allen & Son Funeral Home.

Ms. Bowman died Friday. She was born June 25, 1952, in Fort Worth to Jackie and Ann Vinson Jeter.

She was a member of the Community Fellowship Church, worked as a registered nurse for Cherokee County Outreach. She graduated from Alto High School in 1971, was a cheerleader, homecoming queen and band sweetheart.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors are two daughters and a son-in-law, Robin and Andrew Watson of Alto and Rebecca Bowman of Nacogdoches; a son, Brady Bowman of Tyler; a brother, James Jeter of Lindale; four sisters, Carolyn Banks of Dallas, Chris Hudson of Tyler, Donna Hill of Rusk and Alice Hosey of Chandler; grandchildren, Andrea Tavares, Andrea Burch, Kayla Burch, Macie Bowman, Brady Lynn Bowman Jr. and Evangeline Watson.
