ROBERT R. FONDA

Memorial service for Robert R. Fonda, 69, of Rusk was Saturday at the O.T. Allen & Son Funeral Home. Mr. Fonda died Feb. 8 in Rusk. He was born Aug. 29, 1938, in Gloversville, N.Y. to Richard and Lottie Peeler Fonda. He was a contractor in cell tower construction and Baptist. He served in the U.S. Marines during the Vietnam War. Preceding him in death was his wife, Jacqueline Fonda and a sister, Millie Fonda. Survivors are two daughters, Brenda Hall of Wells and Bonita Coleman of Houston; three brothers, Win Fonda of Fonda, N.Y., Toby Fonda of Gloversville and Frank Fonda of Ohio; five grandchildren, Joseph Hall, Megan Hall, Ashley Grady, Bradley Coleman and Landon Coleman; and one great-grandchild, Shyanne Grady.
