Jasper man uninjured in log truck accident

Anthony Thomas was not injured in a single vehicle log truck accident on U.S. Highway 84 east of Rusk Tuesday morning. Apparently the rear brakes locked and caused the rear axle to slip from under the logs. A log rig owned by Brother Thomas logging company of Jasper was involved in a single vehicle accident Tuesday morning as a line of thunderstorms swept through East Texas. The accident was investigated by Steven Crosby, Department of Public Safety trooper. First responders spent more than three hours cleaning the roadway. PHOTOS: TARA CROSBY
