B. Walker announces for state representative
He will face Democrat incumbentChuck Hopson on the Nov. 4 General Election ballot. If elected to the Texas House, Walker said he would make securing our borders a priority, he will continue to fight for property tax relief, and he will work to reduce wasteful government spending that he experienced firsthand while serving in several capacities at the Capitol in Austin. Walker resides in Tatum. He is a former criminal prosecutor, and he now spends a great deal of his private legal practice working to secure VA benefits for disabled veterans. In addition to his law practice, he is an adjunct professor at Panola College. Former Republican State Representative candidate Mike Alberts of Cherokee County has been named Campaign Treasurer for the Brian K. Walker Campaign. |
