MAURICE SOLLEY MILES

Maurice Solley Miles died Jan. 6. She was born May 25, 1923, in Cherokee County to W. D. and Sudie Mae Bevil Solley. She grew up in the Barsola community and graduated from Alto High School.

She worked in Lufkin for Southwestern Bell Telephone and for Dr. H. L. Hughey's dental office.

Preceding her in death were her parents; a sister, Mildred Morris; and a brother, Carl Solley.

Survivors are her husband of 62 years, William (Bill) Miles; a daughter and son; two sisters, Billie Berryman and Margie Bailey, both of Lufkin; five grandchildren; five nephews and three nieces and friends.

Services were at Gibson Funeral Home and burial was Jan. 12 in Arnold Cemetery at Barsola.
