Calf winner

John Eckerman of the Rusk FFA was among the calf scramble winners at the 112th edition of the Southwestern Exposition and Livestock Show in Fort Worth. He is the son of Lana Johns. Sponsor of John's efforts was Joe Hill of New York, N.Y. John was given a $500 purchase certificate to help purchase a registered beef or dairy heifer for a year-long FFA project.
