Plans for community band underway at LMC

Charles Davis, band director at Lon Morris College, has announced that he is in the process of organizing a community band.

Musicians met at 7 p.m. Jan. 22 at the Lon Morris cafeteria. Lon Morris is located at the corner of Devereux and College Avenue. Other meeting dates will be announced.

"Everyone is invited. We need those who play a horn and those who use to play a horn. It doesn't matter how old or young you are. You are welcomed," he said.
