Plans are underway for Karing for Kids fair

      "Karing for Kids" Health Fair is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 9 at the Rusk Civic Center. The Kiwanis Club of Rusk saw a need for an area Health Fair and contacted Cherokee County Health Department last spring.

UT Tyler honor students announced
      Kinsey Claire Gresham of Rusk is among the 287 University of Texas at Tyler students named to the President's Honor Roll. Brandi Black and Brooke Green, also of Rusk, were among the 340 students named to the Dean's List for the fall semester.
