MILTON HARRIS

Memorial service for Milton Harris, 75, of Rusk will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Wallace- Thompson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Greg Gunter officiating. Mr. Harris died Jan. 12. He was born Jan. 23, 1932 , in Waterloo, N. Y. to Charles Pierre and Mary Harris. He was a Rusk resident 30 years, and an Episcopalian. He retired as a Class A PGA Golf Professional. He was a construction superintendent and a Cushing baseball coach. He served in the U.S. Air Force in World War II. Preceding him in death were two brothers. Survivors are a son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Vera Harris of Columbia, S.C.; a daughter, Kim Lloyd of Rusk; one brother; two sisters; five grandchildren; four greatgrandchildren. Memorials may be made to North Texas PGA Junior Golf Foundation.
