Craft Baptist dedicates its historical marker

A Day of Celebration is planned for Sunday, Jan. 27, at the Craft Baptist Church.

Activities will begin with a Celebration of Deliverance during the Sunday school classes meeting at 9:30 a.m. The Celebration of Worship will begin at 10:30 a.m. in the church sanctuary with Dr. Tony Cleaver as speaker. Guests will be recognized. There will be special speakers and musicians to provide the worship messages.

Immediately following the worship service there will be a Celebration of Fellowship including a covered dish luncheon in the Gaylor Family Life Center.

The day will climax with a Celebration of Community Influence at 2:30 p.m. on the church grounds. The church's historical marker, approved by the Texas Historical Commission, will be unveiled and dedicated. The Historical marker committee working on the project includes the Rev. Leon Ross, pastor, Shelley Cleaver, Melba McKnight, Johnnie Ross and Sandra White.
