JACK DUBLIN (PAPA) EARLE

Memorial service for Jack Dublin (Papa) Earle, 74, of Nashville, Tenn. was at 1 p.m. Friday, Jan, 4 at Earle's Chapel Methodist Church with Dale Jamerson presiding. Burial was in Earle's Chapel Cemetery. Mr. Earle died Dec., 27. He was born on Dec. 23, 1933, in Jacksonville. He attended Jacksonville High School where he excelled in sports and music. After graduation he attended Texas A & M University and Sam Houston University.

He retired after 35 years of working for the Federal Aviation Administration as an air traffic controller and data systems specialist. He was active in the development of the FAA Conflict Alert System.

Survivors are his wife of 53 years, Barbara Thomas Earle of Ashland City, Tenn.; children, Steve and Allison Earle of Nashville, Tenn., Mark and Kathleen Earle of Colorado Springs, Colo., Kelly and Ron Meers, Carver, of Mass., Stacey Earle and Mark Stuart of Ashland City and Pat and Rita Earle of Joelton, Tenn.; grandchildren, Justin Earle, Ian Earle Molly Earle, Emily Earle, Mary Earle, Ashley Meers, Scott and Stephanie Deluke, Christopher and Lisa Mims, Kyle Mims, Jackson Earle; and one great-grandchild, Nicholas Ritchie; brother and sister-in-law, Neil and Selena Earle of Jacksonville and a sister-in-law, Barbara Earle of Jacksonville.
