J. Bacon seeks office

JAMES BACON SR.

James Murphy Bacon Sr. has announced his candidacy for Precinct One County Commissioner.

Born and reared in Cherokee County, he is a 60 year resident. He has served as an officer in the Cherokee County Home Builders Association, on the board of Cherokee Country Club, board of Craft Turney Water Supply Corporation and presently on the board of People's Church. He has also served on the Jacksonville City Council.

His pledge to citizens is that if elected he will represent all of the people in Precinct One equally, and will be a full time commissioner.
