JACK HIX TENCH
Funeral for Jack Hix Tench, 70, of Reklaw, was at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 28, 2007, at Autry Funeral Home Chapel with Father Mark Kusmirek officiating. Burial was in Walkers Chapel Cemetery.

JACK TENCH

Mr. Tench died Dec. 25, 2007, in Reklaw. He was born Aug. 2, 1937, in Aliquippa, Pa. to Walter Baxter Tench and Willie Faulkner Tench. He joined the Air Force in 1954 and was discharged in 1962. He married Dorothy Lee Pavalock July 14, 1956. He worked for General Electric in Houston for 28 years.He retired at the age of 48 and moved to Reklaw. He attended Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church.Preceding him in death was a grandson, Cory V. Lundsford. Survivors are his wife Dorothy Lee Pavalock Tench; two daughters and sons-in-law, Jacqualine Ann and Terry Lunsford and June Marie and Lynn Rader; grandchildren, Mandy Lee and Calvin Carpenter and Kimber Lynn Lunsford; four sisters and three brothers-in-law, Flossie Tench Harris, Dora and Oliver Trotter, Ruby and William Brown and Linda and Telford Tanksley, all of Georgia and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Terry Lunsford, William Brown, Calvin Carpenter and Lynn Rader.
