MAE CONN

Funeral for Mae Conn, 83, of Brookeland, was at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 22, at the Brookeland Missionary Baptist Church. Burial was in Brookeland Cemetery. Mrs. Conn was the mother of William (Bill) Bradley of Rusk.

Mrs. Conn died Wednesday, Dec. 19. She was a native of Navasota, Grimes County. She had lived in Brookeland for the past 40 years. She was a member of the DAVA of Jasper, Pine Tuckey education extension service.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Elton Conn; a daughter, Jeannette Conn; and two grandchildren, Jill and Keith Bradley.

Survivors are three sons and daughters-in-law, William (Bill) and Jan Bradley of Rusk, John F. and Anne Bradley of GoodSprings, Ala. and David and Gloria Conn of Kirbyville; two daughters and son-in-law, Laura and Danny Olsen of The Woodlands and Margie A. Letney of Brookeland; a sister, Elizabeth Weaver of Austin; 12 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association. Arrangements were under the direction of Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home of Jasper.
