Shobert-Branton vows spoken

Mr., Mrs. Jonathan Bryan Shobert
Brandy Rose Whitley Branton and Jonathan Bryan Shobert both of Jacksonville were united in marriage Nov. 16, 2007, at the Castle on the Lake in Jacksonville. Judge James Morris officiated the ceremony. The bride, escorted by her son Brandon Matthew Branton wore a Milano, white satin, chiffon gown with pink embroidery and rhinestone beadings. She also wore a sheer veil and a tiara.

The bride is the daughter of George Trahan of Jacksonville and the late Jeanette Whitley. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Trahan of Jacksonville and the late Lottie and Aaron Varner. The groom is the son of J.R. and Betty Shobert, of Jacksonville and the grandson of the late J.B. and Eva Honeycutt and the late Tom and Frankie Francis Shobert.

Maid of honor was Rebecca Walston of Jacksonville and matron of honor was Tonya Gage of Jacksonville. Bridesmaids were Amy Walston and Sarah Walston both of Jacksonville, and Carla Varner of Berryville. Best man was James Hampton of Athens and groomsmen were Jesse Maberry of Bullard, Lex Moses of Gresham, James Hogg of Jacksonville and Paul Allen of Linville. Flower girl was Summer Cheyenne Branton of Jacksonville and ring bearer was Elijah Lee Branton of Jacksonville

Following a wedding trip to San Antonio Mr. and Mrs. Shobert are at home in Jacksonville.
