      A common misconception about the city of Rusk is that it is located within Rusk County. It isn't, but the Raiders of West Rusk High School do make their home in Rusk County. Last Tuesday night, the Eagles and Raiders played for what could be considered the Rusk supremacy.

Teams make history with 1st, 2nd, 3rd place wins

      The past few months for the Rusk FFA have been both successful and historic. It began with the Rusk FFA wildlife team as they finished first, second and third in the senior division of the Cherokee County Wildlife Contest hosted by the Natural Resource and Conservation Service.
