Dixie Melody
     The Dixie Melody Boys will be featured in concert at 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 22, at the Wells High School auditorium. The event is sponsored by the Wells FFA chapter.      The engagement and approaching marriage of Lauren Elizabeth Kimbrough and Scott Gary Tyler has been announced. The couple will be married Dec. 27 at Millard's Crossing chapel in Nacogdoches. Parents of the bride-elect are Mr. and Mrs. Ronald W. Kimbrough of Nacogdoches. Her grandmother is Nan Durham of Rusk. Mr. Tyler is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gary Tyler of Folsom, Calif.

Coats for kids drive underway for Rusk youngsters
      Women of the Rusk Church of Christ are in the process of collecting coats and funds to purchase coats for area needy youngsters. Coats will be distributed at the church from 9 a.m.-noon Saturday, Nov. 15. Those seeking coats are asked to bring children to try them on.
