A fter the vigil for Gustaf, it has been a blessing to see the bright sunlight reflecting a majestic blue sky. I had forgotten how blue the sky can be. The horrible Hannah has blown out and we ready ourselves to receive another not so welcome weather event named Ike. The newscasters drive me nuts. Is it really that bad? More ... O ur hunting folks along El Camino Real have thrown chores to the wayside. More important activities like putting out corn feeders, killing wasps out of deer stands and mowing oat patches have replaced the normal chores of summer. A tree fell and knocked my corn feeder to the ground and the hogs rooted it. More ... |
