VIEW from the top
Time passes by us quickly
      I hate being stuck in a line of cars, so, when I pick my children up from school, I usually park down the block, walk up to the campus, and walk with them back to the car. Such was the case last Wednesday, when I had to pick them up because my wife was at work.

SCENE in Passing
      Look at the photo which was handed to me from the archives of Frank and Katie Gillespie. It looks rather primitive and it should. It is a photo of a 1902 Sears Roebuck Motor Buggy. It was purchased by Marcellus Diehl of York, Pa. It was later purchased and owned for 30 years by his nephew, J. J. Ruth of York, Pa.

HIGH POINTS from El Camino Real
      Folks along El Camino Real have dusted off their stadium seats and are preparing to spend their Friday nights for the next three months or so, cheering the Alto Yellowjackets. The boys are back and looking good, so everyone is optimistic about the football season. The price of gas may interfere with some fans, but I imagine some car pooling will take place before long.
