Past due library fine causes problems for first grader
      I want to let you know that my grandson, age seven, is not being allowed to go to public school. We were called by Jan Evans and told that he had a library fine from when he was in kindergarten, and that he would not be allowed back in public school until that fine was paid.

After 2 home break-ins, neighborhood prowlers make it difficult to sleep
      There have been several break-ins over around the nursing homes on U.S. Highway 84 East and around Bagley Road. Just this past weekend, three homes were burglarized and my family's home has been targeted as well as some of the other neighbors down the street.
