$19.8 million budget adopted; public hearings scheduled to approve tax rate

30 new motor scooter jobs will add $1.34 million to economy

Southwest Scooter Company announced that Greg James has been awarded a distributorship for Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisiana. The East Texas location for the distributorship remains undecided. 'Pretty good' Rusk senior defensive end Anthony reaches for his dreams
There are two sides to Rusk defensive end Quinn Anthony. One is the 6'2, 265 pound lineman who enjoys contact and wreaking havoc in opposing backfields. The other side of Anthony makes as many appearances as the defensive end. The second science camp, sponsored by the Cherokee County AgriLife Extension Service and Lon Morris College was held on July 28 - 30 at LMC. Last year's camp was held at Jim Hogg State Park.
