Rusk PD investigates 16 videos, including a dangerous choke hold that can cause death

Texas Comptroller Susan Combs announced that the 10th annual sales tax holiday will take place Aug. 15-17. During the weekend, most clothing and shoes priced below $100 can be purchased tax free. The tax break applies to children's and adults' apparel. More...

Memorial service for Earnest Alton Young, 45, of Nacogdoches was at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Rusk with Pastor Pat Gregg officiating. Mr. Young died July 26.
