Don't fear trying new things
      We had lunch at the new Tree House Restaurant on Saturday. The menu is limited to tortas and tacos - two of my favorite foods. A torta is a sandwich made from a sub type bread, called a bolillo (bo-lee-o). The bread is lightly toasted, then the meat, lettuce, onion, cilantro, and avacado are put on. It's topped off with a crumbled white cheese.

Dining experience at T.J. Rusk Cafe was delightful
      I went to lunch at the T.J. Rusk Cafe last Friday. I found the silverware already out, the establishment clean and the prices highly competitive.

Handicap parking is abused
      Every day I see handicap parking spaces being abused by individuals who do not meet TxDOT's definition of a disability I get angry and upset at the individuals abusing the parking spaces. However after I did a little research into the matter I'm very angry and upset with the physicians and podiatrists who complete the disability statement on the permit application.

Fair on the Square needs gospel
      This year's Fair on the Square was just as good as the others have been with one exception. I had read in this paper that there was to be at least some gospel music and there was none. The only Christian thing was a skit by one of the churches. I don't think it is right to expect something because you read it in the paper and then it is not done.
