      Graveside service for Jay Willis, 78, of Jacksonville was at 10 a.m. Friday at Corine Cemetery in Jacksonville with the Rev. Larry Smith officiating. Mr. Willis died April 22. He was born April 11, 1930, in Limestone County to Buford and Verna Sherrd Willis. He was a member of Sunset Baptist Church. Mr. Willis was a retired Ford Motor Co.

      Funeral for C.E. (Shots) Reid, 79 of Alto, was at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Campground Baptist Church with the Rev. Jim Goforth officiating. Burial was in Lynches Chapel Cemetery. Mr. Reid died April 23. He was born Nov. 4, 1928, near Rusk to James Birten and Frances Masters Reid. He lived in Houston for 20 years where he worked for Sunbeam Bread as a baker.

Burial was in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Mayo died April 25. She was born Sept. 21, 1921, in Trinidad, to the late William Jarrett and Minnie Stevens Stanfield.
