I want to thank the Rusk Fire Department and all the local agencies who participated in the "Consequences" program at our high school last week. Also, to our Rusk High School students and community members who participated in the re-enactment. More ... Thank you to the Rusk Volunteer Fire Dept. and other organizations who helped coordinate and present "consequences" to the juniors and seniors of Rusk High School. I was in my country home preparing to eat my evening meal alone, for my husband was out of town. Returning to the kitchen to get something I had forgotten, I heard what sounded like a faint knock on my backdoor. I opened the door and immediately caught my breath. More ...
