      The Rusk Lady Eagles opened District 20 3A softball play last week with a big 11- 3 win over the Diboll Lady Jacks. Callie Collins was the winning pitcher with five strike outs. "We swung out bats really well and put a lot of pressure on them," Head Coach Ashley McElroy said.

      The Alto Yellowjackets baseball team is off to a great start this season, as they enjoyed an 18-1 victory against the Latexo Tigers Thursday, advancing the team's record to 6-1. Head Coach John Paul Dixon said the team is doing well, adding the only area that he feels the team needs to work on is hitting.
