Doris Robinson indicted by Grand Jury for theft of water department funds up to $100,000

Doris Robinson, 60, of Jacksonville, longtime city of Rusk employee, posted bond and was released shortly after 3 p.m. Monday from the Cherokee County jail. Mrs. Robinson posted a $10,000 bond on charges of theft of property between $20,000 and $100,000. More...

Open house festivities were held Friday at ETMC Rusk in conjunction with the re-opening of the Emergency Center. Funeral for Mable E. Sadler, 84, of Rusk was at 1 p.m.,Friday, March 7, in the Calvary Baptist Church with the Rev. Terry Nied and the Rev. Don Copeland officiating.
