Congratulations to the Alto Yellow Jackets on winning their back-to-back state championship title.

Coaches and players should be very proud and you have made everyone here very proud of you.

There are several individuals and businesses that need to be thanked that made our game day festivities and our downtown celebration possible upon the boys return Saturday night.

A special thanks goes to Rachael Burrows and her cheerleaders. They have done a fantastic job all year long. Also, thanks to all the parents of the students involved-football, cheerleaders, band, etc. You do so much.

Thanks to the City of Alto and the Alto VFD for escorting the charter bus into town Saturday night. That is something this 2007 state championship team will be able to look back on forever. Memories are what it is all about.

Thank you to the following for your donations towards the pom poms that were distributed at the game. They looked great.

Keith and Carlynn Gardner, Lance and Johnna Crisp, Kelley Robertson, Cynthia Carroll, Westcraft, Bowles Creek Cattle Co.(Jeremy and Kelly West), Jones Farm Produce, Alto Florist, Duplichain Contractors, Sandy Holcomb, Tony and Judy Johnson, Ron and Kay Rose, Bill and Fay Hudson, Natasha Simmons, Chris and JayAnna Davis and Donna Chometa.
