KENNETH DWAIN JENNINGS Funeral for Kenneth Dwain Jennings, 66, of Jacksonville was at 10 a.m. Friday at Autry Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. James Farmer officiating. Burial was in Union Grove Cemetery at Troup. Mr. Jennings died Dec. 19. He was born Oct. 20, 1941, in McPherson, Kan., to Ray William and Minnie Lou Dowdy Jennings. He was an oil field roughneck and a member of Lake Area Church at Frankston. He was preceded in death by granddaughter, Holly Chereé Jennings; father, Ray William Jennings; and brother, William Leon Jennings. Survivors include his wife, Charlotte Jennings of Jacksonville; three sons, Rocky Jennings of Rusk, Kenneth R. Jennings of Longview, and Charles Jennings of Tyler; a daughter, Brenda Smoker of Lindale; his mother, Minnie Lou Bland of Jacksonville; two brothers, Bob Jennings of Sedan, Kan. and Dan Jennings of New Summerfield; a sister, Jackie Carter of Longview; 15 grandchildren; two greatgrandchildren; nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Brandon Jennings, Brad Smoker, Chris Smoker, Kevin Jennings, Kodi Jennings, Blake Reid and Josh Jennings. Honorary pallbearers were Jose Reyes, Ramond Dunford, Wayne Duke and Stephen Reed. |
