Rusk High School graduates who joined the Aggie Corp. of Cadets and are now marching in the Texas A&M Aggie band returned to Rusk Dec. 18 to recruit for the band. The three Rusk High School alumni turned Aggie Band members are from left): Taylor Clay, Jason Turney and Ben Thompson. These three have marched in nine Texas A&M halftime performances this year, including the Texas A&M/Texas game which boasted the largest Kyle Field attendance ever at 86,000 people. They will march at halftime of the Alamo Bowl game between the Texas A&M Aggies and the Penn State Nittany Lions Saturday, Dec. 29. PHOTO: BETTYE TURNEY
