Couple marry Dec. 1 at Castle on the Lake

Mr. and Mrs. Joshua Neal Counahan
Samantha Ann McClellan and Joshua Neal Counahan were united in marriage on Dec. 1 at the Castle on the Lake in Jacksonville. Judge Craig Fletcher officiated for the outdoor ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Larry and Martie Littlejohn of Jacksonville. She is the granddaughter of Robert and Judy Williams and Harold and Glenda Littlejohn. The groom is the son of David and Shirley Counahan of Jacksonville. He is the grandson of Steve and Lois Mims and Beverly Counahan.

The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a Oleg Cassini, princess dress with a full tulle skirt and a beaded bodice.

Matron of honor was Whitney Crutcher and Megan Ayers was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Sarah Martin, Bea Noland and Amanda Scruggs. Sydney Littlejohn was junior bridesmaid. Best man was Gregg Ayers and groomsmen were Jeff Rozelle, Cody Carroll, Steven McClellan and James Templeton. Flower girl was Lexi Counahan. Tate Yancy registered guests in the bride's book.

Mrs. Counahan is a 2004 graduate of Jacksonville High School. She is employed by Capital One in Jacksonville.

Mr. Counahan is a 2001 graduate of Jacksonville High School. He is employed by David Counahan Construction Services.
